It has been over 12 months since I started my consultancy company Muller Geological Services Consultancy Pty Ltd (MGSC). I have been fortunate to work on some great projects with talented and professional people from a number of companies. Setting up a company and transitioning from a fulltime employee to a consultant is an interesting journey and a very positive experience. It has really help to fuel my passion for discovery, adding value and solving geological problems.
I started with the idea of servicing a niche market focusing on revitalising historic projects or solving those seemingly intractable geological problems by diving into the data with a rigorous and detailed bottom up and top down data analysis, manual sectional based interpretation and surface/lode specific coding and longsections/plans. This approach is very effective in locking new ideas and opportunities giving new life to old projects. As I completed projects the idea cemented into the direction I want my consulting business to take and I am ready to expand my client base beyond my existing professional networks. This led to the formation of the website and MGSC branding that is being launched today. The website is designed to be the go-to-place to show case the services I offer, FAQ, testimonials and will be the platform for planned blogs on the tips, tricks and learnings I have made over my 30 years working in the Exploration and Mining industry.
The website and company branding would not have been possible without the wonderful and professional support of Natalie Jayne from Natalie Jayne Creative (NJC) who developed the company logo, templates, colour schemes and branding. She has done an amazing job of pulling everything to show case my vision for MGSC and has a real talent for transforming ideas and concepts into reality.
The copywriting, website analytics and site editing was done by Claire Dowler from Syntax & Soul. She was able to transform the technical geology speak and ideas into the wording and text required for a website ensuring the right tone and messaging.
The result of our collaboration is what you see today. Please share or link to anyone you think has a project that needs advancing or has acquired a complex dataset that needs organisation and collation to understand of what they actually have.
